In Norse myth, the gods bound Fenrir with Gleipnir — a magical ribbon made of impossible ingredients — because every physical chain he was given, he broke easily. His bind-to-power mechanic mirrors the seal-break mechanics of Bakugan evolution and the Yu-Gi-Oh monster effects that reverse negative statuses into power multipliers.
